Crownivity, Capelli Hair Services, The Embold Project, and New Song Academy are joining forces through The Crown Commitment to address chronic absenteeism by affirming students’ confidence and cultural pride. This initiative recognizes that hair should never be a barrier to showing up at school. Students at New Song Academy with 90% or higher attendance this quarter will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for a professional natural hair experience and an Embold natural hair care kit, reinforcing the connection between consistency, self-worth, and success.

Celebrate black excellence with Girl Scouts! In honor of Black History month, Girls will explore hands on activity stations including hip hop dance class, hair braiding class with The Embold Project, and other activities to build your cultural curiosity and appreciation!
